    Cats with asthma

My cat was diagnosed with asthma years ago. He used to have such severe symptoms that he was on steroid pills/shots/albuterol constantly. I found a great vet who suggested allery testing and shots and he has improved tremendously. If anyone has a cat suffering through asthma check out allergy testing and shots in your area.

    Re: Cats with asthma

My cat is currently on allergy shots to prevent his asthma and his asthma is under control. Prior to this he had to get steroid shots almost every month in order to prevent attacks. Vets may also prescribe steroid pills and albuterol which my cat also has - to use in case of an attack.
