My little Angel cat and I are grieving the loss of my special Christmas lap cat and her life long buddy, Noel.  We knew something was wrong and Angel somehow smelled something different...but vet trips said no problem.  To us it was obvious something was wrong and  we insisted upon more testing plus an ultrasound...the cancer of the intestine diagnosis came too late.  If there ever is a next time...we will not begin with routine tests.   We hope by sharing our story of loss...someone else will benefit from the knowledge that you should ask for other tests...when you know...something is wrong. 

DEAR GRIEVING,I JUST WANTED TO LET YOU KNOW THAT YOU AND YOUR LOVED ONES ARE IN MY PRAYERS.THE LOSS OF A PET IS LIKE LOSING A CHILD(I WOULD ASUME).I HAVE A 2 YEAR OLD POMERANIAN THAT IS MY BABY.I KNOW I WOULD BE SO LOST IF SHE WASN'T APART OF MY LIFE.I AM BLESSED BECAUSE OF HER.MAY GOD BLESS YOU ALWAYS...GWEN

that vet should do his work properly my sympathies to you and to your cat.. 

JV17.....I know you are right...we had taken her to the vet as scheduled and when we thought something was wrong...nothing was found...six months later, after two days of throw-up.... four more appointments in the next ten days!  Answer came after we demanded an ultrasound....intestinal/incurable cancer.  By then we were feeding her one kibble of food at a  time.  I think part of the problem was also....four different vets from same office saw her!
