Since the price of gas is over $4.00 per gallon and the polution is as bad as it ever hasbeen, anybody want to discuss the idea of electric cars and renewable energy and save our country, create new industry and keep our money in America?

 Any thoughts out there?  If we can clean up the air walking my dog would be more refreshing.

you had a point there however using a vehicle is still important because that's the only thing that we can go to other place.. 

I agree but if we convert our cars to electric or hydrogen we stop poluting and create jobs in the U.S. and stop sending money to OPEC who actualcountry becomes stronger and Russia who is trying to control the world with their oil and gas suddenly has nothing to sell.

 Just an idea.

 I think everyone should be aware of this.There should a big campaign about saving gas and mother nature.

I think green power will not only save the world, but America steps up to a challenge and we will create new jobs here and this will make us more prosperous then ever before, create jbs and new wealth and once and for all get us off the depencence of foreign oil and  sending all our money to the arab countries that hate us because of our freedom and pursuit of happiness.  My thoughts...

 Regarding this matter,America have no choice but to import foreign oil.There are too many third world countries who suffers and are affected by this crisis and not only America.Nevertheless,we who are in dominion and has the more power should cooperate and support others who are in need.Its not just a matter of saving or doing the right thing on one's country,its about helping each other especially those who are not educated about this and those who experience poverty.

We do not have to continue importing foreign oil forever.  We can start immediately to transform to renewable energy sources right here in the U.S of A.  America has always stood up to a challenge and the world dependson us to do that as we are a conglomeration of all the world.  We can and we will break the addiction to foreign oil and third world countries need to start educating their people and stop teaching them to hate us.  Just because we are prosperous doesn't mean we cause other countrie to suffer as we are the ones that provide aid like when the sunammi hit indonesia we helped out not their rich oil affiliates like the saudis or Iran.  It was us yet Indinesia is an Arab islamic country.
