What would you do if a Pet Groomer told you that your pet is gone?

I went to a Pet Groomer Shop this afternoon to fetch my dogs, then the lady from that shop who is an employee there acted weird then told me " I am sorry, but I think we lost your dogs". I was so angry and just shouted at them. Then suddenly I noticed that some of the staff were laughing at me. I asked them what's so funny? They said it was just a joke and my dogs are ready for pick up. I felt so relieved after hearing that. I saw my dogs happy and so ALIVE!!! Just curious, what would you do if you found out that your pet is gone?

How horrible!  I would not go back ever again.  Obviously, that person has never lost a pet "for real".  How unprofessional!

Well I love my dog so much that if that ever happen and they were serious. I obviously would take some legal action against the place but I believe i would totally trip first. They would see a side of me that they never thought existed..

What an absolutely horrible insensitive way to act!  This is one establishment that not only would I never again patronize, but I would have the names of every employee working that day and report them to the owner.  I would further publicize the incident through letters to the editor, word of mouth and any other way I could imagine.  And, if they did indeed "lose" my precious babies, they would be out of business so fast they wouldn't be able to spell bankruptcy!

I would never go back to that groomer ever again.  I would let the manager know what they have done.

Well, they wouldn't want to tell me that about my baby....I would go ballistic!!!! I would be on the phone 1st with an attorney, then the better business bureau, then the local chamber of commerce. Unless every employee that was involved got fired, I would never go to this business ever again...because I know how I would react, I would be scared to go back again. I would also post it right on the front of my business web site, so everyone and their mother, etc could see what happened and spread the word.

My dog is my child! If it were a true child in school and a teacher said we lost your child...it would be on every news channel in the country. In my mind, there is no difference!
