We will be traveling in September all over the east coast.  We have two grand dogs and want your inputs regarding leaving dogs in RV while we are away for a few hours. What do you do? Do we need to leave air conditioning going?  With our car I never leave the dogs, even in cool weather. With the RV no one can see in.  What do you do?

My parents always left their "Litte Bit" in the RV.  Hot weather then AC was left on for her.  This will be some input for you.  Enjoy your trip!

Because of all the pet owners that perished during Hurricane Katrina, because the shelters would not allow pets,  the owners stayed out with their pets rather then leaving them.  On October 6th, 2006, Congress signed into Law The Pets Evacuation, Evacuation, Transportation Act basically requiring safe travel for pet owners and their pets.

 We own 3 great dogs too. We leave them in RV too with air conditioning on and they seem to love it. Enjoy your trip!
