Awesome alternative to tags that dangle and make noise Review by HolmesLyall

I love these tags!! My husband is really adamant that our dogs can't have tags that dangle because the clanging noise annoys him. When I found these I bought 2 for our 2 large breed dogs. They are perfect! They arrived just like I ordered them - they look great, the writing is clear, they were VERY reasonably priced compared to other similar products. My dogs seem to not notice anything additional on their collars - they haven't itched at them at all etc.I agree with another reviewer that the best place on the collar to put it is the place where the collar doubles over so the metal prongs are cushioned with the fabric and not with the dogs skin, but other than that - I have no concerns with these at all. Love these and would buy again! (Posted on 2/15/2019)
Fantastic alternative to the jingle jangle ID tags Review by Jessica

The reviews seemed good enough to pull the trigger and pony up a 5 spot for the tag. I was pleased that the tag came rather quickly, the text was accurate, and it fit very well on my dog's 1" collar. This tag is around the neck of a 1 year old, very active and rather large German Shepherd. He isn't gentle with it and it has seen hours of play time with another dog who is an equally active/rough player.

The printing is definitely easy to read, but the black against the silver can cause a little contrast issue. I saw that as a non-issue because if my dog gets out, I imagine the person who might find him will take a second to look at the collar and see the engraved phone number and chip #.

The photo shows a pretty filthy tag, but it also shows a nice tight fit. The tag is THIN. This hasn't been an issue, but I do know that similar tags for twice the price are slightly thicker. It doesn't move at all on the quick release nylon collar I have it on. The collar itself is properly fitted and the tag seems to rest fine against my dog's neck. He doesn't appear bothered by it nor am I concerned about the lack of curvature of the tag. I can see why it might be important on smaller dogs.

I'm about to order another tag, size small, for a 45 pound very short haired dog. I'm hoping it is as comfortable to her as this one is to my shepherd. I don't know how long the tag will hold up, but the engraving seems deep enough that even if the black paint (or whatever it is) comes off, the tag can still be legible enough to provide enough information if my dog decides to venture out on his own one day. Can't you bend these a bit? Review by KonaKathie, Queen of the Hawai'i Smithereens

Very reasonably priced, but why aren't these curved? A dog's neck isn't flat as a board. (Posted on 2/15/2019)
Clear printing but could be thicker Review by Nathalia Calderon

The quality of the printing is perfect, but one of the prongs was able to bend when attached to my dogs collar. I believe he rolled on the carpet and somehow got it caught and it bent but I was able to fix it but it never went back to the original state. I think the metal should be double the thickness it is now to avoid similar problems. (Posted on 2/15/2019)
Tips for size and placement Review by Sharon S.

No more lost tags! Item is very heavy duty and will last forever. I would suggest listing width sizes so item can be matched perfectly to collar. You won't be able to get it on if the collar is too wide and you don't want it hanging over the edges or falling off on a too small collar. The medium fits a 3/4-inch collar and the large fits a 1-inch collar. They also fit best on the webbing-type collars. Placing them where the collar is double with the prongs inside avoids the chance of prongs rubbing against the neck. Thanks for a wonderful product. (Posted on 2/15/2019)
Missed the last step when producing these... Review by gannas

The tag is flat, which is a problem for how this is intended to be used. Would be perfect if you were mounting this on a leash or other item that doesn't curve around your animal's neck.
I was able to lay the tag on a curved surface and whack it with a rubber mallet to put a curve in it. Now it doesn't cause discomfort and collar tightness for my dog. (Posted on 2/15/2019)
Good Product!!! Review by Courtney

Not a bad product. It works pretty well and does the job. The price is very reasonable for the product. I bought 2 of the 1/2 inches, 1 of the 3/4 inch and 1 of the 1 inch models. The issues I had were that I had to adjust it on my 3/4 inch collar leather with pliers because the collar I had was too thick but I made it work, and I had to curve the 1/2 ones so they fitted on my cats. It worked out for the 2 nylon cat collars and the 1 inch and 3/4 inch leather dog collar. So I recommend it overall (Posted on 2/15/2019)
