Not very deeply engraved, but it is very nicely done and very pretty. Its perfect for a kitty or a bookbag. And way cheaper then the make a tag machines you would find at pet store or big box stores. Shipping was not trackable and took a bit but considering it was free thats fine. It took two days from ordering for it to ship and I recieved it 5 days after that. Super cute and engraving was perfect. Other reviews said it was lightly sketched on but ours was plenty deep. Will buy again for sure!
Follow-up - the little ring already broke (it's only been a couple weeks) almost lost the tag but didn't. I'd recommend using a heavier ring if you have a playful dog (s). (Posted on 2/19/2019)

The first time got these for my cats I didn’t see how to order the different colors but I still liked the black. I use these for tags for my cats carriers. The next time I ordered colored ones for my daughter’s cat carriers. She liked them so well that she may get for their collars. One of the fonts had the words squished but another was spaced well. I have a cat who loses his breakaway collar at least once a month. I was buying them with identification tags from Petco which was crazy expensive. These tags are every bit as fantastic and are a fraction of the cost. I would recommend these to anyone and am beyond grateful that I am able to get them! Fast shipping and quality work. I mirror the other reviews that the engraving is not the highest of quality. It does appear more as "rust on the surface" than an actual engraving. However, a good buff and its still perfectly legible and for the price, was exactly what i needed for cat's collars. If ordering for a dog, I might recommend something else that has a deeper engraving to withstand the average friction from an active canine's daily life. (Posted on 2/19/2019)

It's nice but not what I expected. I have a tiny dog so I wanted a tiny tag. My pet is distressed by her tag striking her food dish. This causes me,to have to hang onto the tag or take off the collar while she eats.
The quality is fine, the engraving was accurate, just a bit big for a Chihuahua.
