I liked that these tags were flat against the collar since my dogs have a tendency to grab each other by their collars when playing. One of the tags had a wrong order in the phone number, I don't know if it was an error on their end or mine, but they immediately made a new one and sent it to me at no charge. I was really impressed with that.

Unfortunately my dogs are no longer wearing these because they bent them. They are not a light metal and don't bend easily, my dogs just play super rough. I would recommend these if you want a noiseless tag. (Posted on 10/17/2019)

Some have complained about the lettering just being black, bit looking black in the pics, it is not black, but is deeply engraved like in the description and easy to read. Was worried that because of the low price they would be flimsy, but are much better quality than I expected and work perfectly for what I need. (Posted on 10/17/2019)

I purchased this tag because I don't like noisy, dangling tags. She wears a harness and with pliers to bend the ends open wider and then closed again, and put a little curve in the tag, it fits securely. (I think only a belt type buckle on a collar/harness would allow the strap to snake through the ends.) I have it on a strap of the harness where the strap is doubled so the metal ends of the tag rub against the harness strap below, not her skin/fur. I believe it could be a little rough/abrasive if the metal ends were rubbing directly on the dog, especially if the ends weren't lying flat. I also think putting a curve in the tag is necessary to keep it comfortable if you use it on a collar. The engraving is very nice and clear. I had them engrave her name, two telephone numbers and "Microchipped" and it is all very legible. Very happy with this tag. (Posted on 10/17/2019)

I'm a professional pet sitter and I order a lot of tags from CNATTAGS, both for my business and my personal pets. Their prices are very fair and their turn-around time is always 1) as promised and 2) significantly faster than their competition. Quality is fine for the price (there are nicer tags in the marketplace for a higher price); these wear well with minimal scratching or fading. My only complaint is that they are mailed taped to the shipping list. The adhesive from the tape is virtually impossible to remove without leaving a blemish, even using alcohol (see photo). I'm not taking away a star in case this is a USPS requirement but my feedback to the company would be to try a different tape or skip the tape entirely. (Posted on 10/17/2019)

I purchased the 1"/Large tag for my Great Dane who wears a size L collar. I took the advice of another reviewer and placed the tag on the collar where it is double (as I tried to demonstrate in the photo) and the lack of curve in the tag was a non-issue.

I feel like this is a great quality product for a very good price. I was really excited at how quickly it arrived! I've only had this tag for a few weeks, but it has held up perfectly so far. I chose the Georgia font and 4 lines of text. The engraving leaves a little to be desired (it's a little spotty - could be due to the font or size?), but it's completely legible so I can't complain.

We like this. Fairly ease to put on his collar, and unique. At least I have never seen one on a dog before. I really like the fact his ID doesn't hang and clang around.

2 concerns:
If he gets out, I worry that because it's not a conventional tag, someone may look right over it. I also wonder how much force it'd take for the prongs to come loose if he gets it caught on something and tries to rip free. As of now, we have the Whistle 3 tracker Whistle 3 GPS Pet Tracker & Activity Monitor on his collar, so with that on, the tag doesn't have room to slide. He's only 8 weeks (German Shepherd), so his neck is no where close to the size it'll eventually be. Then, the tag may slide around.

Also, as others have stated, it comes as a flat piece of metal. I worked pretty hard to put a semblance of a bend in it, since his neck is not flat. Once we go up to the largest size, I doubt I'll be able to bend it smoothly.

The text is sharp.
It's been on for just 7 days now, so I don't have any idea how durable it'll prove to be. (Posted on 10/17/2019)

My dog likes to shake her head and wake up my infant. I ordered these tags as a replacement for the jingle tags that she had before. I have been ordering my tags from this company for several years now. Although the lettering looks like it may not hold up, I have not had any problems with my other tags I have ordered from them. In fact, they last longer than the engraved tags you buy from the machine in Walmart. I do have some concerns about the metal, it seems to be a little thin, but I am going to let my dog wear them for a while before I comment decide if it is a problem or not. Over all, I am very happy with the initial quality for the price and I think they will last for a long time. (Posted on 10/17/2019)

I was so excited about these. My cat goes through collars really quickly. The riveted tag I bought at PetSmart was perfect, but I had to throw it out with the collar once the collar was shot despite the tag still being in fine shape. So, I really like the idea of these tags. The printing is large and clear and seems likely to hold up well. The tags are flat but thin enough to bend relatively easily. Edges are not as smooth as they could be. The big problem is that even the small size is much too large for a cat collar. The description stated that the small size is intended to fit a 1/2” collar. The collars I bought are .4”. That's a little smaller than 1/2”, I grant, but these tags are so loose, I don't trust them to stay on. (Posted on 10/17/2019)

I could not stand the sound of my dogs jingling collars every night while I was sleeping. I am a light sleeper and my dogs sleep in my room with me. I would constantly wake up to the sound of their collars. I started taking their collars off and forgetting to put them back on - which defeats the purpose of even having them if one of my dogs were to ever get loose.

I searched for name tag alternatives that would be cheap and effective. I am SO glad I bought these. I wish I’d done it years ago. I already bought two and am going to buy a third one for my cat.

I did listen to the reviews which recommended placing the tag on the doublep-up portion on the collar where the adjustable strap is. This keeps the tag from rubbing on their skin and is a good idea.

Love these name tags and the fact that I don’t have to wake up to my dogs jingling when they are scratching in the middle of the night! Truly a lifesaver! (Posted on 10/17/2019)

I love these tags!! My husband is really adamant that our dogs can't have tags that dangle because the clanging noise annoys him. When I found these I bought 2 for our 2 large breed dogs. They are perfect! They arrived just like I ordered them - they look great, the writing is clear, they were VERY reasonably priced compared to other similar products. My dogs seem to not notice anything additional on their collars - they haven't itched at them at all etc.I agree with another reviewer that the best place on the collar to put it is the place where the collar doubles over so the metal prongs are cushioned with the fabric and not with the dogs skin, but other than that - I have no concerns with these at all.
